The Bid Services department plays a critical role in Alstom's success, responsible for providing support to the company's bidding and proposal processes. As a Bid Manager, you will work closely with sales, engineering, and production departments to prepare and present technical commercial proposals to clients worldwide.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that proposals are delivered to clients with the highest quality and within established deadlines. You will achieve this by managing the bidding process from conception to proposal closure, coordinating analysis of tender documents and client requirements, and helping prepare the company's bidding strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent project management skills, data analysis abilities, and commercial and technical strategies. You will also need to be highly qualified, with a strong understanding of Alstom's operations and a proven track record of delivering high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, lead, and manage costing and pricing aspects of a tender
  • Costing consolidation and cost challenge
  • Deal with processes and department routines

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • English mandatory, Spanish desirable
