Regional Marketing Strategist

Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and results-oriented Regional Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing initiatives across key Latin American territories, including Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Paraguay. This role will be pivotal in aligning short- and long-term business objectives with tailored marketing strategies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a region-specific marketing strategy that integrates overall go-to-market (GTM) plans with localized marketing tactics, catering to the distinct needs of each country.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams, including marketing operations and digital marketing, to drive revenue growth through effective execution of the marketing plan.
  • Oversee lead generation efforts, working closely with the sales team to ensure successful conversion from leads to customers.
  • Design and manage digital marketing initiatives, encompassing email marketing, social media, and content marketing, to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Enhance Elsevier's brand recognition through cohesive marketing campaigns that utilize digital, social media, print, and event marketing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of digital marketing campaigns, employing data-driven insights to optimize performance and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Analyze and report on marketing impact metrics, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop localized marketing materials, including digital assets, email content, case studies, and infographics, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and strategy.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and devise strategic plans.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet targets.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the regional marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in demand generation, including digital marketing for lead generation and tracking marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global organization.
  • Experience in managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously, with a focus on customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and digital marketing tools, including analytics platforms.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as necessary.
