We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our medical team. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients.
- Perform on-site open-heart surgery in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments.
- Conduct initial patient evaluations, pre and post-operative care, and cardiothoracic surgery consults.
- Provide backup for interventional cardiology cases and cath lab procedures.
- Communicate test results and patient discharge education to patients and families.
- Manage medications and perform administrative tasks related to patient care.
A successful candidate will have a strong foundation in cardiothoracic surgery, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Qualifications- Current full and unrestricted medical license in one or more states, commonwealth, territory, or DC.
- Board certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- At least four years of experience in the last five years, with previous VA or military experience strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
