Demand Planning Leader

As a seasoned demand planning professional, you will lead all SA Regional forecasting efforts across short- and long-term horizons, overseeing a team that integrates insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other functions. You will serve as the key link between Commercial, Supply, and Finance teams, driving demand planning within the SIOP process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons, including near term executional demand control, 24 month rolling operational forecast, yearly AOP, and five year strategic plan.
- Leading a team responsible for reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, reviewing statistical forecast models, integrating market data, and evaluating forecast results to determine the monthly Consensus forecast.
- Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated Sales and Marketing assumptions.
- Utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Identifying significant variances to prior forecasts for discussion during the monthly IBP demand review process.
- Using and maintaining the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool, serving as the systems expert on all projects.
- Developing and maintaining required reporting, such as accuracy metrics and projections, to assist in the Consensus process.
- Generating demand planning scenarios during strategic planning process.
