At the heart of every airline lies a crew that ensures the safe and efficient operation of its flights. As a Crew Planner, you will play a pivotal role in building rosters that meet these demands.

About the Position

The Crew Planner is responsible for developing crew schedules that align with the commercial program's goals while adhering to regulations.

This position involves driving improvements to crew rostering systems and processes to optimize productivity while ensuring safety and compliance requirements are met.

Responsibilities
  • Create crew schedules based on the commercial program and duty time constraints
  • Optimize crew rosters for maximum productivity while maintaining safety and compliance standards
  • Oversee available crew resources to ensure program coverage and operational resilience
  • Monitor and manage crew fatigue and well-being
  • Track and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters as needed
  • Lead process and system improvements, including oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module
Requirements
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ambitious mindset and proactive attitude
  • Ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to live and work in Malta
  • Flexibility to travel as required away from office
  • Completed university or college degree
  • Familiarity with AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are advantages
