Senior Tax Leadership Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our dynamic Tax Controversy & Risk Management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive tax strategies tailored to the Brazilian Tax Reform and our evolving business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze complex tax laws, regulations, and incentives to optimize our company's tax position, minimizing liabilities and maximizing efficiencies.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align litigation strategy with broader business goals and growth initiatives, driving success through effective collaboration.
  • Manage tax cases in Superior Courts (STF and STJ), identifying opportunities and potential risks, and developing strategic approaches to mitigate these risks.
  • Drive the tax controversy strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability and favorable outcomes, while staying up-to-date on changes in Brazilian tax laws, regulations, and incentives.
Team Leadership
  • Lead a team responsible for managing tax debit clearance certificates and maintaining current accounts with tax authorities, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
  • Identify and assess litigation risks and opportunities, developing preventive measures and strategic approaches to minimize exposure and maximize returns.
Tax Planning Strategy
  • Develop and implement the company's overall tax planning strategy to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of operations, transactions, and financial data to identify tax savings opportunities, and develop targeted solutions to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in Brazilian tax laws, regulations, and incentives, evaluating their impact on the business and adjusting the tax planning strategy accordingly.
