We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Specialist to contribute to our team’s growth.
About the Role- Develop research projects on mineral processing for various raw materials plants.
- Manage research projects to assess refractories recycling processing technologies.
- Coordinate partnerships with start-ups and universities globally.
- Identify opportunities for technology developments through plant visits, interdepartmental discussions, and literature reviews.
- Define and manage scope, tasks, and schedules for project portfolios.
- Establish, manage, and analyze lab and field trials.
- Enjoy autonomy to make technical decisions and pivot on project development.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, metallurgy, or mining engineering with a focus on Mineral Processing.
- Professional experience in research or process development for mining operations.
- Master's or Doctorate in Mineral Processing is advantageous.
- Ability to manage projects independently, overseeing an extensive portfolio.
- Fluent English and Portuguese language proficiency.
- Intercultural work experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of innovation agile methods is advantageous.
- Experience working on mineral processing plants is advantageous.
