Engineering Manager Opportunity


Job Description:\

Our organization is seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead the development of software integrations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting identity and access management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow a team of engineers working on Agile Scrum teams
  • Design and implement software solutions, including APIs and middleware
  • Participate in systemwide architecture discussions and facilitate integrations across engineering teams
  • Optimize integration performance and scalability
  • Implement robust error handling, data validation, and data transformation mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain existing functionalities
  • Build and lead POCs to demonstrate technical feasibility
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in software design and development, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams in building software integrations
  • 3+ years leading a software development team, including technical and administrative responsibilities
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of Object-oriented programming languages, eCommerce system architectures, APIs, data models, and authentication mechanisms
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols like OAuth and token-based authentication
  • Experience in working in an Agile team with hands-on experience with TDD, BDD
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges
  • Experience of working on AWS Cloud and DevOps (Terraform, Docker, ECS, etc.) would be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems and critical production issues
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are required
