About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Document Management Specialist to join our team and support large-scale engineering projects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of document control processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing document control procedures aligned with company and client standards. This will involve maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing documentation, including engineering deliverables, technical reports, and correspondence.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring version control, document traceability, and appropriate metadata tagging across all project files
  • Coordinating with engineering, procurement, project management, and external stakeholders to manage document workflows and approvals
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and ensuring timely distribution of critical information
  • Conducting regular audits to verify compliance and data integrity
  • Providing training to team members on document control systems and best practices as required

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience as a document controller in the oil & gas or engineering sector, ideally with exposure to subsea projects
  • Strong understanding of document control standards, numbering systems, and ISO-based procedures
  • Proficiency in document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, OpenText)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment
