As a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of factory workers by collaborating with the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to implement global best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workplace health and safety policies and procedures;
- Conduct thorough audits, gather and analyze data, identify factors contributing to disease, accidents, quality of life, and environmental concerns;
- Design and deliver occupational health and safety training programs, participate in expert assessments and inspections, and facilitate negotiation processes;
- Collaborate with teams to adopt new technologies and work processes, investigate and analyze accidents, and recommend preventive measures;
- Provide regular reports on initiatives like PULSAR, 7S, DPS, etc.;
- Support Environmental and Sustainability goals;
- Comply with relevant legislation and support CIPA and SESMT regulations;
- Train and conduct simulations with the Emergency Response Team;
Requirements:
- Required education: Occupational Health and Safety Technician or related field;
- Industrial Metalworking experience preferred;
- Proficiency in English language skills;
- Valid driver's license (B);
- Registration as an Occupational Health and Safety Technician with the Ministry of Labor;
Work Environment:
As a member of the EHS team, you will work closely with industrial department supervisors, administrative and production workers, service providers, and third-party contractors to create a safe and healthy work environment.
