Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Management Consultant to join our team in the PMO function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project operations and performance in assigned regions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Guidance: Provide basic guidance and ensure project transparency.
  • Milestone Management: Tailor project PDSP and delivery targets, provide project guidance for each milestone and activity.
  • Issue/Risk Identification: Identify and manage issues and risks, provide support on issue/risk identification and follow up project management related issues.
  • Effort Estimation and Risk Control: Familiar with effort estimation methodology and development engineering process, control risk during presales stage and conduct contract review.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor contract status, scope, timeline, progress, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate resources across project teams.
  • Deliverable Review: Conduct milestone deliverable and quality reviews.
Accountabilities
  • Key Issue Resolution: Accountable for key issue resolution and escalation.
  • Risk Management: Identify issues/risks, collect information for RCA, communicate with stakeholders to confirm issues, discuss and balance issues, generate options, and provide resolution options and mitigation plans to senior managers.
  • Business Coordination: Coordinate business among the whole organization.
  • Cost and Resource Control: Overall cost and resource control (HC approval).
  • Annual Budget and Quality Target Follow-up: Identify owners, verify owner's qualifications, annual budget, and quality target follow-ups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Business Knowledge: Familiar with cloud business and cloud technology.
  • Presales Support: Support presales and conduct bid reviews, guide new sales directions.
  • Variances and Activity Follow-up: Key variance and activity follow-ups (which have a big impact compared to targets).
  • Problem Solving: Coordinate and influence Segment head and RBU head for problem-solving.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, at least 10 years' experience in the software industry, with no less than 5-8 years of PM experience.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: CMMI, PMP, ITIL knowledge preferred, insurance industry knowledge preferred.
  • Languages: Good command of English in both writing and speaking.
  • Soft Skills: Good self-management skills.
