Project Governance Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Governance Manager to strengthen our project delivery capabilities and maintain our position as a leading supplier of low-carbon aluminium.

  • The successful candidate will support business areas and project units in planning projects according to governing documents, ensuring project schedules allow time for approval processes, and align with local decision gate coordinators for planning reviews.
  • They will lead, organize or participate in decision gate reviews for projects that require approval by the President & CEO or Board of Directors.
  • The ideal candidate will advise on decision gate processes, encourage adherence to requirements, assist in implementing and adapting the Capital Value Process, and develop local networks and review leaders.
  • Responsibilities include facilitating Start-Up Arenas, participating in Project Steering Committees, performing quality audits, and linking local project organizations with Projects Centre of Excellence.

  • This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment, preferably with investment projects.
  • The successful candidate will have industry knowledge, understanding of different types of investment projects, and experience with project management methodology and tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, structured and well-organized approach, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese both oral and written, and relevant master or bachelor level qualification are required.
