The Industrial Process Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial process solutions at various industries. This position requires a deep understanding of engineering, troubleshooting, and monitoring of industrial processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a technical mentor and facilitator in developing studies of process and performance for operational efficiency and compliance with international standards.
- Contribute to developing advanced analytics solutions for condition monitoring and performance optimization of industrial assets.
- Compile and digest industrial technical documentation to gather information for data-driven models.
- Develop root cause analysis studies to identify new opportunities for development and improvement of digital solutions.
- Explore and develop mathematical modeling of industrial thermodynamic processes to support data-driven solutions development.
- Implement digital products in new clients and support development of new features.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with a deep understanding of process engineering theories and practices.
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry with strong knowledge of industrial processes, operations, and predictive monitoring of critical assets.
- Solid understanding of industrial systems and equipment including practical knowledge of sensing technologies, protection systems, performance control, efficiency optimization, technical specifications, and common failure modes.
- Hands-on experience with PI AF (Asset Framework) for data analysis and the development of predictive models.
- Expertise in asset performance and integrity management with the ability to lead and facilitate structured engineering studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, RCA, FMEA, and RCM.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial process operations and control enabling the analysis of systems involving multiple interconnected pieces of equipment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), dedicated protection systems, and condition monitoring technologies.
- Technical familiarity with data collection and storage systems including vibration data acquisition, PIMS platforms, and OPC servers.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, machine learning algorithms, and digital software system architectures.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools for continuous improvement and process optimization.
