Are you looking for a challenging role in industrial optimization? Do you have a passion for machine learning and AI? We are seeking an Industrial Optimization Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

We are a leading company in the field of industrial production optimization, using software and AI to turn data into value and strategic insight for our users. Our software streams live sensor data from production facilities worldwide, processed in an event-driven, distributed system using patented algorithms to identify stable periods and select the most valuable data points for our machine learning models.

As an Industrial Optimization Specialist, you will play a key role in addressing some of the most important technical and strategic challenges we face. Your tasks may include:

  • Analyzing large volumes of production data to solve real customer challenges
  • Developing and optimizing our machine learning models
  • Designing and building applications based on customer needs
  • Preparing and delivering insightful presentations internally and externally
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives such as go-to-market plans, positioning, and delivery models

You'll develop both technical and business expertise in a growing scaleup, giving you a strong foundation for future growth, whether you aim to specialize technically, move into business roles, or step into leadership.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken (English will be your main working language)
  • Willingness to live 12 months in Oslo, Norway, and return to Rio to join the Brazilian team once your initial rotation is over
  • Interest in digitalization, machine learning, and AI
  • Basic understanding of programming and strong logical reasoning skills
  • Ability to take initiative and deliver results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Being Brazilian or possessing a valid work permit to work in Brazil (once your rotation in Oslo is over)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Experience/knowledge of Plotly Dash
  • Experience studying or working abroad
  • Experience with simulation, optimization, and modeling
