The Brazil Retail Operations & Initiatives (RO&I) team is in search of a dedicated and skilled Product Manager to assist fellow PMs in navigating intricate product requirements.

The selected PM will function as a cross-functional product manager, aiding various Supply Chain sectors in strategizing initiatives and managing intricate requirements.


To thrive in this position, the individual must adeptly traverse the organization to uncover opportunities, benchmark against both internal and external teams, influence stakeholders to implement solutions, and collaborate with technology teams.

Fluency in English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Projects for this role involve proposing product enhancements with the following responsibilities:

  • Effectively prioritize product investments, weighing development efforts against product benefits.
  • Draft product requirements, incorporating cross-functional insights (Tax, Accounting, Legal, Operations, Business) for successful launches.
  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities, gathering their inputs and feedback throughout the process.
  • Adapt global solutions for the Brazilian market, advocating for the experiences of Emerging Countries and scaling them through business teams.
  • Drive product adoption following launch.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to ensure data-driven decision-making toward objectives.
  • Analyze metrics and develop a comprehensive understanding of the KPIs influenced by Supply Chain launches.
  • Refine requirements during development as necessary, partnering with tech teams to ensure successful launches within project bandwidth.
  • Communicate progress effectively across the organization.

The Retail Operations and Initiatives (RO&I) team aims to transform routine processes into exceptional experiences, striving to be the most innovative and efficient retailer in Brazil.

We identify, develop, and manage scalable initiatives to enhance Amazon Brazil Retail's key inputs related to selection, productivity, and profitability.

Our mission is to eliminate, automate, or offshore low-value activities that hinder improvements in the Brazilian customer shopping experience.

We aim to accelerate the operational flywheel and delight our customers by fostering synergies throughout the retail business. We provide solutions that address coordination challenges, scale best practices, and ensure continuous improvements in our processes and systems.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Tableau, Essbase, or Cognos).
  • Experience conducting financial or quantitative analyses.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in product, program, or project management leading cross-functional teams in delivering major new products or services.
  • Experience in balancing conflicting priorities and navigating ambiguity.
