About the Role:

A business solutions expert plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and IT departments, translating business requirements into actionable product roadmaps and project deliverables.

  • Evaluates existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommends data-driven solutions.
  • Develops and implements strategic solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborates with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of business needs into technical projects.
  • Liaises with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and improve overall business efficiency.
  • Communicates results effectively through various means, including reports, presentations, and meeting summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting stakeholder meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Ensuring solutions align with business goals and requirements.
  • Developing and managing business intelligence solutions to inform data-driven decision making.
  • Designing and implementing data collection processes to capture relevant insights.
  • Reviewing and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and industry standards is essential.
  • Ability to think critically and take initiative without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Business Analysis or similar roles.
  • Experience in business information systems (BIS) and data analysis is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required for effective communication.
