Job Overview:

This role plays a crucial part in managing medium complexity projects and leading contract negotiations for strategic accounts.

  • Develop, review and execute agreements including master services agreements.
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to resolve contract issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts on medium complexity projects assigned by management.
  • Lead contract negotiations for strategic accounts assigned by management.
  • Develop, review and apply a working knowledge of various business units to ensure proper contract terms.
  • Negotiate change orders for assigned projects with moderate management support.
  • Analyze and generate cash flow schedules for reviews by senior team members.
  • Follow up on outstanding contract issues for resolution.
  • Collaborate with Contract Analysts, Client Services, Finance, Pricing and Sales to resolve contract issues.
  • Maintain harmonized contract processes and client relationships.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to Contract Management policies and processes.
  • Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance from a contracting perspective.
  • Perform data entry into required tools and systems.
  • Provide updates on contractual documents to management as required.
  • Assist/mentor junior staff and provide pre-submission review and approval.
  • Participate in project review meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced/Bilingual English level.
  • Minimum 2 years of contract management related experience (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and negotiate effectively.
