Senior Field Representative

This is a senior role within our international team, based in Argentina. We are seeking an experienced professional to represent our organization and engage with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in field programmes, preferably in the agriculture or forestry sectors. Strong knowledge of Spanish and English is required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Represent our organization towards national authorities, partners and stakeholders;
  • Advocate for our policy positions in relevant national fora, communicate effectively with the general public;
  • Support UN joint communication efforts and collaborate on delivering the 2030 Agenda;
  • Ensure timely access to our knowledge resources and global public goods;
  • Lead on food security and agriculture policy, operational matters within the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator System;
  • Coordinate emergency response preparedness, coordination and response at the country level;
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's Degree) in an area related to our activities;
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in planning, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of field programmes;
  • Proficient working knowledge of Spanish and English;
