Senior Legal Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled legal leader to head our in-house legal team and drive strategic growth initiatives.
This role will involve providing senior legal guidance, overseeing corporate governance, commercial contracts, licensing, intellectual property, and risk management while coordinating with our Compliance team.
The successful candidate will advise the CEO, Board, and executive team on corporate, commercial, and operational legal matters, build and mentor an in-house legal team aligned with company growth and market expansion.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Brazilian corporate law, licensing, contracts, and IP, as well as strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
They will also be able to provide business-focused, actionable legal guidance and have advanced English language skills.
- Develop and lead licensing and regulatory strategies for Brazil markets.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
- Oversee intellectual property protection, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks; manage disputes and litigation with external counsel.
- Law degree with active legal license; 10+ years post-qualification experience, including senior leadership.
- Experience in iGaming, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
