We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Legal Expert.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the business in virtually all legal coverage areas mainly for Brazil and Argentina, but also for other Latam countries, including product development, regulatory matters, licensing requirements, contract review and negotiation, litigation cases, marketing/advertisement, assessment of tokens to be listed in Brazil, corporate governance, supervise external counsels, etc.
- Collaborate with the licensing and compliance teams in obtaining licenses, communicating with regulators;
- Work closely with product and business development teams to achieve company-wide projects and goals;
- Manage legal requests from all areas of the business and effectively advise on legal concepts and legal risk with an eye towards the strategic goals of business leaders.
The ideal candidate should have experience working on matters pertaining to financial services and cryptocurrency/digital assets, as well as strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to be able to navigate through a rapidly-changing legal landscape and deal with legal ambiguity, while being a self-starter, quick learner who is highly driven, proactive, responsive and precise.
You will work closely with all members of the Global Legal team and business leaders throughout the company, but will concentrate on supporting the Latam team, mainly Brazil.
