About the Opportunity

You will be part of a dynamic legal team that provides strategic guidance to support business growth in Latin America.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services and cryptocurrency regulations, with a strong understanding of the regional market.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer to make a meaningful impact on the company's success in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for Latin America;
  • Collaborating with product and business development teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations;
  • Managing legal requests from all areas of the business, providing expert advice on complex legal concepts and risk management;
  • Working closely with licensing and compliance teams to obtain necessary licenses and communicate with regulators.
Requirements:
  • Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team;
  • Strong understanding of financial services and cryptocurrency regulations in Brazil and Argentina;
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills;
  • Ability to navigate rapidly changing legal landscapes and deal with ambiguity;
  • Proactive, responsive, and precise self-starter with high drive and motivation;
  • Experience working on cross-jurisdictional matters and on a global legal team.
