Distributed Systems Manager

An Enterprise Leader is needed to oversee the design, build, and operation of modern distributed systems for customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leverage technical expertise to manage engineers and prioritize development and operations tasks
- Evaluate team performance using measurable indicators
- Develop and enforce disciplined engineering processes
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, customers, and external teams
- Ensure the team focuses on key objectives, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain service level agreements with global customer deployments
- Promote high-quality managed services in a consistent, timely manner
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven experience in software delivery or operations management
- Familiarity with OpenStack
- Strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
- Proficiency in Linux system administration, preferably Ubuntu/Debian
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Distributed team management experience
- Tech-savviness in complex distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and technologies
- Rare travel required, 20% or less
