Project Coordinator Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering tasks to a high standard and contributing to various projects of different sizes.

This role involves handling diverse commissions, depending on the project complexity, and working as part of a team or as the primary point of contact with clients.

The successful candidate will help establish success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters, governance, planning, processes, and systems.

A strong background in project coordination, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector, is essential, along with expertise in Civil-Structural and Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide accurate and timely updates on engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Prepare and maintain project Basis of Schedule.
  • Establish and manage project master schedule for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Apply resource loading for optimal crew/staffing plans.
  • Calculate and manage Earned Value KPIS and progress tracking with S curves.
  • Implement scheduling specifications from the owner.
  • Coordinate project progress tracking with the General Contractor throughout the value chain.
  • Ensure project schedule activities are coded by the project work breakdown structure and interface with controls systems for progress/forecast updates and analysis.
  • Analyze and report critical path throughout the project.
  • Incorporate required scope changes and trends into project schedule.
  • Analyze impacts and deviations and propose mitigation measures.
  • Provide weekly, bi-weekly/monthly reporting inputs of plan vs actual and forecast mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office Package (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
