Job Description

iHunters, a global leader in the iGaming industry, seeks an experienced technology leader to drive its Brazilian operation. This role requires close collaboration with international teams and ensures world-class delivery in a fast-paced market.

As the Head of Technology in Brazil, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy for our online betting platform. You will oversee multiple engineering teams, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality products and services that drive sustainable growth and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Act as the primary technology partner for product, business, and international stakeholders, ensuring alignment on delivery, quality, and performance standards.
  • Oversee the technology roadmap for Brazil, balancing rapid delivery with technical debt management and long-term scalability.
  • Drive cross-team communication and collaboration, ensuring information flows seamlessly across all teams and business verticals.
  • Remove organizational and technical impediments, enabling teams to achieve ambitious goals on time and with high quality.
  • Champion talent development, retention, and engagement, actively participating in recruitment and succession planning for the technology organization.
  • Provide strategic direction for information systems and technology operations within the Brazilian market.
  • Maintain a strong focus on process improvement, risk management, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing and scaling software engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, international, and remote-friendly environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, including negotiation, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in the online betting, gaming, or related digital industries is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
