Project Management Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our PMO function, you will be responsible for the operational and performance management of projects across assigned regions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your project management expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and project transparency to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Tailor project PDSPs, delivery, and quality targets to meet business needs, while providing guidance on milestone and activity planning.
  • Offer project management consulting services, including support on issue/risk identification and follow-up on project-related issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of effort estimation methodologies and development engineering processes to control risk during the presales stage and conduct contract reviews.
  • Monitor project status, scope, timeline, progress, quality, and client satisfaction to drive overall project success.
  • Coordinate resources across project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Conduct milestone deliverable and quality reviews to ensure high standards are met.
  • Familiarize yourself with project financial forecasts and P&L variance analysis to make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate monthly reports and gate review reports to maintain project visibility and accountability.
Issue Resolution and Escalation:
  • Identify and collect information on issues and risks to facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to confirm issues and gather necessary information.
  • Discuss and balance competing priorities to generate effective resolution options and mitigation plans.
  • Present resolution options and mitigation plans to senior managers for decision-making.
  • Follow up on results and coordinate business activities across the organization.
  • Ensure cost and resource control through approval processes.
  • Identify owners and verify their qualifications to ensure competence.
  • Monitor annual budgets and quality targets to maintain project alignment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • No less than 10 years' experience in software industry with at least 5-8 years in project management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technology stack (Kubernetes, DevOps, Microservices, security, performance, etc.).
  • Experience in global IT or consulting companies is preferred.
  • CMMI, PMP, ITIL knowledge is advantageous.
  • Insurance industry knowledge is also beneficial.
  • Proficiency in English writing and speaking skills is essential.
  • Strong self-management skills are required.
  • An English CV is mandatory for consideration.
