Project Management Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to provide expert project-related support and assistance for assigned projects and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Documentation: Establish and maintain all project documentation, including files, records, and reports, in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- File Review and Audit: Assist with periodic review/audit of files for accuracy and completeness.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and track all information, communications, documents, materials, and supplies for assigned projects.
- System Updates: Update and maintain internal systems, databases, tracking tools, timelines, and project plans with project-specific information.
- Discrepancy Identification: Identify and escalate discrepancies in project tracking data, timesheet coding, expense data/billing, interpretation of financial figures which may lead to identification of out-of-scope activities not previously reported.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and distribute status, tracking, and project finance reports, and assist the project manager(s) with budget allocation and approval of invoices.
- Presentation Materials: Prepare presentation materials for meetings (internal/external) and project summary data.
- Meeting Coordination: Coordinate project team and/or customer meetings including logistics and materials required.
- Process Improvement: Coordinate with other project support staff within and outside the Clinical Project Management Unit to identify and consolidate support processes.
- Backup Contact: Serve as primary backup contact for internal project team and for external stakeholders/customers as designated by the project manager.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or other related field required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of prior relevant experience in project management and clinical research.
- Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills.
- Results-Oriented: Results- and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output.
