Job Role:

Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic education assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting the head teacher in delivering high-quality education and ensuring a safe learning environment for students.

  • Classroom Support
    • Assist the head teacher in guiding students during activities to enhance their learning experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Educational Projects
    • Participate in the implementation of didactic-pedagogical projects designed by the school.
  • Maintenance and Organization
    • Ensure the classroom is well-organized, with materials prepared as requested by the head teacher.
  • Pupil Safety and Care
    • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs.
    • Maintain constant supervision during activities, intervening when necessary to prevent accidents.
  • Student Management
    • Manage student safety at entrance and exit points, adhering to safety standards.
    • Accompany students during meal times, ensuring they eat well.
  • Leadership and Record Keeping
    • Take charge of the class in the head teacher's absence or temporary unavailability.
    • Record student activities through videos and photos, sending them to the head teacher within set deadlines.
  • Professional Development
    • Attend academic meetings, conferences, and workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
  • School Events
    • Participate in school events open to families.

Requirements:

  • Education
    • Attending or graduated in Pedagogy.
  • Experience
    • Desirable 2 years of classroom experience.
    • Experience with Early Childhood Education.
  • Languages
    • Proficiency in English (C1 or higher).
  • Specific Technical Knowledge
    • Bilingualism.
    • Early Childhood education specific to Early Childhood Education.
