Job Overview:

Serves as a key member of an Information Barriers Surveillance team, responsible for designing and overseeing surveillances to detect regulatory rule violations or internal policy breaches.

  • Reviews surveillance alerts and reports to identify potential issues in trade activity.
  • Gathers and analyzes trade data to support Firm responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Communicates findings to management and interacts with legal personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing surveillance alerts and/or reports relating to firm and client trading activity for Trade Surveillance.
  • Gathering and analyzing trade data to assist in the Firm's response to regulatory inquiries.
  • Responding to inquiries from internal partners (e.g. Internal Audit, Legal).
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of new surveillances as well as refining existing ones.

Qualifications:

  • PQO Compliance is mandatory
  • Knowledge of compliance laws, risks and typologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible and innovative
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
