This is a challenging role for an experienced database administrator to lead and contribute to our data management efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and other relevant technologies.
">- Develop expertise in designing robust ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Integrate data from disparate sources using API integration or message queuing.
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions, including dimensional modeling and star schemas.
- Experience integrating metadata and governance processes into cloud-based data platforms.
- Certification in Azure, Databricks, or other relevant technologies is highly valued.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting (Bash, Unix, or Windows) is essential.
Key Skills: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT Pipelines, Cloud-Based Platforms, Python, Shell Scripting.
Requirements: Strong recent hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and Synapse (3+ years), experience leading a distributed team, proficiency in SQL, data transformations, and performance tuning on cloud-based data storages.
