About the Role: We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal communications strategies that align with our business priorities.

Job Description:

  • Develop and lead internal communications strategies on behalf of the company.
  • Partner with employee resource groups to promote each group and ensure alignment with overall company messaging.
  • Support events, select site communications, tradeshows, employee resource groups, people leader communication, and the Wabtec Intranet, social media development.
  • Provide varying degrees of strategic support for the communications and regional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working on a corporate communication team
  • English Advanced/Fluent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of Manufacturing/Rail/Transport industry
  • Highly process and detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to communications planning and execution
  • Strong project and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines without diminishing quality of execution or outcome
  • Strong storytelling skills
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to seamlessly navigate organizational hierarchies and structures in a matrix organization
  • Proven ability to work and prioritize independently; proactively manage complex problems guidance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency with video editing and website content management platforms also a plus
