
System Integrator Business Development Manager

The System Integrator Partner Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth and development through strategic partnerships with system integrators. This position is responsible for creating and executing sales strategies that meet or exceed annual sales goals, while also fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
This includes developing and maintaining relationships with assigned system integrators, as well as identifying new partners that can help expand Rockwell Automation's market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software industry and experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to travel locally more than 50% of the time. In addition to being results-driven and customer-focused, the successful candidate will be a team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning the system integrator business development strategy for all system integrators in your designated geography. You will provide tailored support to top SI accounts, coordinate with the Channel Team and distributor to cover secondary SI's, and execute the SI strategy for assigned territories.
You will work closely with BU leads in territory to identify product gaps and market needs, and focus efforts on filling competency and skill gaps in our offerings. You will also institutionalize a collaborative and effective ongoing planning process (Success Planning) with system integrators/market access partners.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field; additional business-related degree/experience preferred. Software industry experience required. Five plus years prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration, or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program.
Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant (customer), including VPs, plant engineers, and OEM machine builders. Ability to travel locally more than 50% of the time.
