Risk Management Internship

Are you looking for a role that will challenge your analytical skills and provide you with hands-on experience in risk management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Management Intern to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our Latin America Risk Management team, you will support us in delivering high-quality risk management solutions to our clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights into the insurance and reinsurance industry, while developing your professional skills in risk management, data analysis, and business communication.

  • Support the Risk Management team in activities related to the BDPO tool.
  • Assist in implementing regulatory requirements related to the Risk Management Structure of Swiss Re Brasil Resseguros legal entity and preparing semi-annual risk reports.
  • Support in creating operational events and monitoring deadlines.
  • Prepare Risk Reporting and monitoring documents.
  • Deep dive into laws and regulations impacting reinsurance and insurance activities for Latin American countries.
  • Provide administrative support to the team's daily activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc work in support of Risk Management.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • Intermediate Spanish.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient in Access and Word.
  • A strong interest in learning about insurance and reinsurance.
  • Previous knowledge of insurance and reinsurance is a plus.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Studying 3rd to 7th semester (2nd and 3rd years).
  • Majoring in Administration, Economy, Law, International Relations, or Affairs.
  • Having strong skills in adaptability, organization, rigor/discipline, attention to detail, curiosity, accountability, and teamwork.
