The role of a Research Administration Manager is pivotal in advancing a university's research mission. They ensure compliance, enhance research productivity and maintain efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities- They guide Principal Investigators (PIs) through preparing and submitting grant proposals including budgets, narratives and compliance documentation.
- The primary liaison for grant submissions to central research offices and funding agencies, they review and approve proposals ensuring adherence to university, federal and sponsor guidelines.
- They oversee post-award management activities such as budget tracking and financial reporting.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in research administration preferably in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in pre-award and post-award management with knowledge of federal and institutional regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with various stakeholders.
