Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for the overall support of combustion systems within assigned areas. This includes preventative maintenance, emergency support, after-hours support, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, hardware-based automation support, as well as commissioning support for new and existing equipment in various environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for combustion systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to combustion systems.
- Support hardware-based automation systems and provide commissioning services for new equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma with a technical school certificate or courses in technologist or mechanical instrumentation engineering.
- Five years' experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Availability for national and international travel.
- Intermediate to advanced English language skills (writing and conversation).
