Maintenance Technician

Our team at a major automotive manufacturer in Porto Alegre, Brazil is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain the integrity of our Body Shop assets and ensure compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on Body Shop equipment and machinery
  • Utilize MAXIMO system to manage work orders and track progress
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements:
  • Técnico em Manutenção or equivalent technical degree
  • Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Skills:
  • Programming experience with Rockwell CLP
  • Knowledge of Siemens IHMs in supervisory mode
  • Experience with Ethernet and Devicenet networks
  • Understanding of inverters and frequency control systems
  • Operational knowledge of FANUC robots
