Your Role

The Senior Product Lead will take on a pivotal role with significant autonomy, presenting numerous opportunities to influence our teams, clients, and overall business. This position merges essential product ownership principles from Agile practices with a comprehensive product strategy and client management approach, leveraging technical knowledge. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, converting business needs into actionable tasks for our development teams, and collaborating with a diverse group of designers, strategists, developers, and quality assurance engineers to realize the client’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients regarding product vision and user requirements.
  • Gather and manage complex requirement backlogs that encompass various platforms.
  • Ensure a unified understanding of product requirements among all stakeholders.
  • Develop a strategic product roadmap that balances business value, technical considerations, and project constraints.
  • Lead discussions on scope management and prioritize features effectively.
  • Work closely with product designers to craft exceptional user experiences that align with technical capabilities.
  • Conduct client journey mapping, user story mapping, and other workshops focused on product development.
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineers to outline system architecture and data flows for feature development.
  • Utilize analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and refine product strategies.
  • Analyze data to uncover patterns and opportunities for product enhancement and improved user experiences.
  • Document technical dependencies and API requirements thoroughly.
  • Contribute to the promotion of best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Mentor fellow Product Leads, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (C1 or C2 level).
  • Over 5 years of experience in software development as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role.
  • Experience in gathering and defining requirements across multiple platforms, including mobile and web.
  • Understanding of platform-specific capabilities and accessibility standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse roles.
  • Experience in shaping product vision and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and assess platform-specific risks.
  • Proficient in documentation and technical writing, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes and technologies.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies to ensure successful development cycles.
  • Proven ability to lead the initiation of new features, ensuring effective project execution.
  • Strong intuition for user experience and empathy for product users.
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams in a supportive environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in agency or consulting environments across various industries.
  • Familiarity with product research and strategy development.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
  • Certification as a ScrumMaster or Scrum Product Owner.
