About the Role
  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to assist with personal care for hospice patients. As a member of our team, you will provide support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene routines. You will also work closely with our registered nurses to ensure seamless care coordination and communication with patients and their families.
Responsibilities

As a Hospice Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping patients maintain hygiene routines, such as brushing teeth and washing hair
  • Assisting with wound care and maintaining cleanliness of dressings
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility)
  • Have 1 year of experience within the last 5 years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting
  • Have satisfactorily completed a training and competency evaluation program that complies with federal and state regulations
  • Be registered and listed in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of employment
