Job Summary:

We seek an Email Deliverability Specialist to ensure seamless email delivery and optimize performance for clients. This role involves staying updated on industry best practices, monitoring deliverability issues, and collaborating with SparkPost to resolve delivery problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed about email marketing trends and apply knowledge to improve deliverability.
  • Monitor and mitigate email deliverability issues, including blocks or spam foldering.
  • Collaborate with SparkPost to resolve deliverability issues and develop resolution tickets.
  • Provide regular status updates to customers after each check.
  • Perform manual system testing and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Document key learnings from test results in presentations.
  • Conduct campaign management and business process audits to identify factors affecting deliverability.
  • Participate in business consultation meetings to promote effective practices.
  • Conduct monthly 'Lessons Learned' meetings with customers to discuss campaign successes and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience/knowledge in digital marketing, customer intelligence, and campaign planning.
  • Expert-level knowledge of audience development through email platforms and familiarity with major ESPs, Google Analytics, and email analytics systems.
  • Previous experience working with big four inbox providers and understanding emerging delivery challenges.
  • Demonstrated understanding of email, SMTP, MTAs, IP strategies, authentication technologies, reputation strategies, data hygiene, privacy, opt policies, anti-spam policies, SNDS, JMRP, Google postmaster, and Yahoo FBL.
  • A proven track record of success with growing customer engagement and basic HTML and email design/product experience.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, independently, and travel infrequently.
  • Genuine interest in business challenges and ideation of solutions to meet customer business objectives.
  • Superior conflict resolution, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: diagnosis, root-cause assessment, option evaluation, and resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines.
