Linehaul Finance Manager, Transportation Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning key financial reporting and alignment, developing key processes around our organization's goals, and performing financial analyses of major business events.
Key Responsibilities- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
- Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets, and output plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events.
- Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
The ATS Finance team is a dynamic and collaborative group that partners closely with operations teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operational excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions. We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional financial performance and driving business growth.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
- Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
- Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
- Experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
- Experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business.
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems.
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
