Operational Excellence Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering business goals by ensuring security of supply, compliance, and transparency in processes and optimum value for money.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Execute everyday activities related to import and export, resolving customer complaints appropriately.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build stakeholders' trust by maintaining effective relationships and communication.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all import activities and international trade agreement programs comply with relevant rules and regulations.
Responsibilities/Principal Duties (Essential Functions):
  • Import and Export Activities: Resolve customer complaints and execute everyday activities related to import and export.
  • Build Stakeholders' Trust: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • End-to-End Process Improvement: Partner with Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Warehouse, etc. to create a robust and efficient End-to-End Process.
  • Audit and Compliance: Serve as primary point of contact for Customs-related audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Project Management: Align with the management team and ensure optimal results for all operations.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain efficient knowledge on all rules and regulations for various business operations.
  • International Transportation Services: Execute international transportation service policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality issues - trackwise coordination.
  • SAP and Thomson Reuters Configuration: Support SAP & Thomson Reuters configuration and tests.
  • Claims Analysis and Mitigation: Analyze claims and execute mitigation plans.
  • Budget Control and Projects: Maintain budget control and serve as projects focal point.
