Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of structural elements and actuation mechanisms for aircraft structures and propulsion systems, including pylon structures, nacelle, thrust reverser, mount, fusible link, aerodynamic fairings, hinges, APU tail cone, and other components.
  • Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and modification of structural and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods.
  • Ensure that systems and components meet requirements and specifications by leading performance, integration, and analysis of tests.
  • Manage supplier development, test, and production activities, coordinating with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals.
  • Develop new processes and tools to enhance the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
  • Explore emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs meeting projected requirements.

This role requires a high level of expertise in structural engineering, as well as strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams towards successful project outcomes.
