Account Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Account Specialist to play a critical role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences for our small business customers.

This is a fast-paced, performance-based environment where customer interactions may be supervised, recorded, and assessed. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business needs and be able to identify solutions that map to those needs.

The Account Specialist will engage with prospective and current customers to qualify product fit via multiple channels. They will consistently work towards our goal of increasing our customer satisfaction level and providing an exceptional customer experience.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must become a Salesforce product expert to articulate feature functionality and how it maps to customer needs. They will present and demo business value of various products to customers clearly and confidently, tailoring individual demos to their needs.

The Account Specialist will act as the frontline for technical issues and route to Support when appropriate. They will handle initial billing and licensing questions and issues and raise as appropriate. Additionally, they will partner with existing distribution teams efficiently to ensure customer success pre and post sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify product fit for prospective and current customers via multiple channels.
  • Understand business needs and identify solutions that map to those needs.
  • Become a Salesforce product expert to articulate feature functionality and how it maps to customer needs.
  • Present and demo business value of various products to customers clearly and confidently.
  • Act as the frontline for technical issues and route to Support when appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software.
