Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our data infrastructure. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Analytics Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to create high-quality data systems that provide clarity and drive insights across our organization. This includes developing data models across various architecture layers, optimizing SQL queries for large datasets, building dashboards and BI workflows, and ensuring data quality and governance.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish best practices for data engineering and analytics, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and drive meaningful contributions to our company's growth and success.

Requirements: Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong SQL expertise with experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas.
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, especially Athena, S3, and Glue.
  • Experience building analytics dashboards with Metabase or similar BI tools.
  • Understanding of Medallion Architecture and layered data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of startup/product metrics and how to translate them into analytics workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering and ETL tasks.
