Becoming a key member of our finance team is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our production group. Our finance supervisors play a crucial role in providing business partnership and driving financial value through effective decision-making and strategy development.

About the Role:

The finance supervisor will form part of the senior management team within our production group, providing expert guidance and support to the production group senior management team and associated manufacturing plant leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted business partner to the production group senior management team and associated manufacturing plant leadership teams;
  • Responsible for Plant Finance Sr Analysts activities, personal development in regionally assigned plants, and timely adherence to critical plant-based routines and deadlines;
  • Analyse and oversee the production group consolidation view of month-end financial close results, communicate results effectively, accurately, and timely in standardized formats;
  • Manage the development cross-functionally of the production group spending forecasts for annual operating plan cycle (AOP) efficiently, accurately, and timely in standardized formats;
  • Support finance-led regional, manufacturing plant-based or otherwise initiatives to drive EVA performance improvement and standardization of processes;
  • Assist with the analysis of regional financial results to identify and track cost reduction initiatives;
  • Collaborate with other Production Group Finance Supervisors globally to improve financial and operational performance;
  • Develop and implement standard global operating procedures and work instructions for the plant finance function;
  • Provide education on key principles of how the business runs, how it makes money, and how employees can impact EVA daily;
  • Offer back-up coverage for other Plant Finance Supervisors at their production group manufacturing plants and support the Manager of Manufacturing Finance as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance;
  • Proven strong work-related and leadership experience;
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills;
  • Systems literacy including strong Excel capability;
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize;
  • Working knowledge of finance and forecasting principles, general business principles, legal and accounting practices, Economic Value Added (EVA), manufacturing standard costing, financial modelling, and generally accepted managerial practices and procedures;
  • Specific systems experienced preferred within Microsoft suite of applications, ERP systems (SAP, JDE, etc.), and Hyperion Essbase (or equivalents).
