Senior Financial Associate - Actuarial Expertise

The Senior Financial Associate in our organization plays a pivotal role in the Financial Actuarial & Analytics (FAA) community of expertise. This position makes substantial contributions to complex analyses and projects involving the design, financing, and measurement of employer health and group benefit programs.

  • Develops in-depth knowledge of client complexities by working across diverse client profiles and roles.
  • Demonstrates advanced/expert knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts, as well as H&B tools.
  • Provides strategic direction on benefit plan analysis, design, cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies.
  • Reviews technical consulting accuracy on client projects.
  • Communicates complex financial/actuarial/analytic results to drive client action.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads multiple projects simultaneously and produces high-quality deliverables on time and within budget constraints.
  • Expands relationships with clients and identifies and resolves issues with limited information and experience.
  • Directs the work of more junior colleagues and provides constructive feedback.
  • Applies analytical, creative, and integrative skills effectively.
