Lead Guest Experience Supervisor

This role is a crucial part of the Guest Services Team at Mt. Bachelor.

The Lead Guest Experience Supervisor plays a vital part in enhancing guest experience by leading the volunteer Mountain Host program in Winter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee selection, training, and management of volunteer Mountain Hosts to ensure exceptional guest service.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and encouragement to help team members grow professionally.
  • Conduct routine audits to verify that program goals are met and consistently exceeded.

This position requires strong leadership skills to manage the volunteer program effectively and drive results.

Essential Functions:
  1. Volunteer Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of approximately 100+ Mountain Host volunteers to guarantee seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for providing initial and ongoing training, coaching, and encouragement.
  • Monitor progress and conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to program standards.
  1. Operational Leadership:
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the Mountain Host Program, emphasizing excellence in guest experience.
  • Facilitate morning meetings, safety huddles, and guest service sessions to maintain open communication.
  • Delegate tasks and collect relevant information to ensure informed decision-making.
  1. Guest Experience Enhancement:
  • Model superior guest service and lead by example to set high standards for the team.
  • Address complaints promptly and conduct regular guest surveys to gauge satisfaction levels.
  • Promote mountain services effectively, highlighting unique features and attractions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • Minimum Qualifications: 3 years of Guest Service Supervisory experience preferred.

Strong communication and public relations skills are highly valued.
