Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Financial Operations Manager, where you will be responsible for managing the entity-wide Balance Sheet Reconciliation Process (BSRS). You will work closely with auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be involved in various projects to automate and streamline areas of the month-end process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with business and support areas to obtain required information and challenging numbers.
  • Managing stakeholders and producing ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
  • Closely collaborating with auditors to facilitate their requests and contribute to system changes and transformation projects.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with proficiency in IFRS and Bacen GAAP.
  • Ability to understand HSBC's activities, products, processes, and systems, as well as analyze data using Excel and database skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills, with self-motivation and rapid learning capability.
  • Experience working in an accounting role for a financial institution, with English and Portuguese proficiency.
