Job Description

The Payroll Specialist position at Ball Corporation requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage employee data and ensure accurate payroll processing.

About the Role

This role involves acting as an internal payroll specialist, maintaining contact with external payroll providers, and ensuring all payroll compliance is understood and delivered. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating efforts between payroll service providers, human resources, pensions, and other departments to maintain employee data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the payroll process locations and ensure timely and accurate payroll and employee-related reporting while adhering to predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate efforts between payroll service providers, human resources, pensions, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
  • Review the accuracy of payroll reports produced by ADP or other relevant providers, ensuring all necessary changes have been accurately captured, such as joiners, leavers, allowances, bonuses, deductions, bonuses, pensions, etc.
  • Communicate any errors/issues with ADP or other relevant providers and ensure corrections are made prior to payment.
  • Track payroll processing errors post-payroll.
  • Ensure long-term incentive plan and short-term bonus payments are carried out on time and delivered accurately.
  • Responsible for having payroll approved and paid on time and ensuring that contributions to pensions are made within the stipulated timeline.
  • Prepare payroll journals and post into the appropriate SAP system on a timely manner, ensuring all necessary payroll recharges are made accordingly.
  • Provide necessary pensions reporting, such as contributions, starters, and leavers, etc.
  • Support and manage expat payroll-related queries with HR and external advisors when needed.
  • Provide required expatriate payslips and any other payroll information on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
What We're Looking For
  • A university degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in payroll, preferably with knowledge of SAP and ADP processing.
  • A high concern for detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent English language skills.
