Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance

We are seeking a skilled Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance to join our team in Brazil.

  • As a Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for improving processes and test methodologies.
  • Defining test strategies and test plans
  • Creating new test cases (manual and automated) to verify/validate new features and fixes
  • Analyzing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Performing regression tests and analyzing their results
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects

You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality of our products.

The ideal candidate will have a complete Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering etc., experience with software testing including automation testing, knowledge of programming language/scripts, experience with agile methodologies, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and good verbal and written English and Portuguese communication skills.

Nice to Have

The following skills are not required but would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge or experience in Python
  • Knowledge of performance and API tests
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
  • Experience in EDA industry/tools

This is a full-time position with 40 hours/week. The successful candidate will enjoy competitive benefits and a dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities include identifying process improvements, defining test strategies, creating test cases, analyzing requirements, performing regression testing, and documenting defects. To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be a team player with a continuous improvement mindset, and have good verbal and written English and Portuguese communication skills.
