Key Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities

Eaton seeks a highly skilled supply chain manager to oversee all key supply chain functions, including purchasing, materials planning, production scheduling, inventory and warehouse management, import & export, shipping and receiving, customs and trade compliance, supply chain optimization, and supporting customer service and project areas.

  • Define policies for developing and controlling production schedules and inventory levels based on sales forecasts and other commitments.
  • Create processes to determine materials requirements needed to meet production schedules, inventory levels, and shipment demands.
  • Ensure company standard procedures and corporate directives are followed in connection with negotiation and purchases of materials and services.
  • Analyze and evaluate inventory and delivery problems to recommend and/or implement solutions to optimize inventory levels and customer service.
  • Manage supplier price increase requests and plan logistics process improvements.
  • Develop and control standard metrics according to Eaton policies, focusing on achieving Hi-5 goals and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Control logistics, purchasing spending and warehousing costs in the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or Engineering.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish desired.
  • Extensive years of combined experience in Purchasing, Logistics, Materials and SIOP functions.
  • Proven working knowledge of Logistics and Planning Processes, Inventory Management, Materials Management.
